Shery L. Cotton Pediatric Emergency Department Renovation

Ascension Health hired DeMaria to renovate the Pediatric Emergency Department at Ascension St. John’s Hospital. The project involved new construction, finishes and a complete interior demolition to create ten treatment rooms, four of which are for pediatric behavioral health patients. In addition, the space features a new trauma room, teamwork area, and offices. Key upgrades include an ambulance drop-off area with a canopy, minor building entry modifications with added security measures, and a new air handling unit in the basement to service the newly developed spaces.
