Project Details
The extensive renovations to the City of Detroit’s Riverside Park have been long awaited and highly anticipated by Detroiters. Located within view of the Ambassador Bridge, it is a bustling park. The City of Detroit selected DeMaria to complete Phases 3 and 4 of the renovations. This included sitework and laying new concrete as well as amenities such as picnic shelters, a fitness area, a new playground, and a splash pad. The site also hosts a new comfort station with its own concession area. In addition to these renovations, extensive environmental remediation has taken place to ensure that the park is safe for all future visitors. With this rejuvenation, the 29-acre park is expected only to grow to be more popular and be enjoyed by future generations of residents.
