Project Description
DeMaria was awarded the Lakeshore Park project by the City of Novi. The new facility hosts Novi’s parks and library programs for residents of all ages. The scope includes a new 7,500 sf recreation center with asphalt parking lot, related grading, landscape and exterior spaces at the north end of the park. There is also a 2,400 sf south-facing, wrap around deck for outdoor gatherings. Indoor spaces include the Dodge Brothers Room, a 2,300 sf camp room with GluLam beam framed vaulted ceilings.
The construction project also features a new park shelter, playgrounds, and a library kiosk. The building has restrooms that are accessible from outside and open year round. There will be a dedicated bike lane to the back of the park and trails in southern part of the park.
