Project Description
The James C. Renick University Center serves as the heart and soul of the U of M Dearborn campus community. We have been contracted by the University of Michigan to provide construction services for their campus. We transformed the space into a community center, activity center, gathering place, service center, and dining hall for students and staff. There are a number of meeting rooms that have been updated as well. These include a boardroom, two rooms that can accommodate around 25 people, and Kochoff Hall, which is a versatile space that measures 5,500 square feet (SF).
A variety of student-focused activities, campus departments, and business offices that had previously been located in other campus buildings can now be accommodated in the Center. Students and staff that come to the center will now have a variety of options when eating, relaxing, meeting with study groups, and talking to advisors. It now provides a convenient place for people to meet and eat in a relaxed atmosphere.
