Project Description

The University of Michigan College of Education, Health, and Human Resources project in Dearborn is a shining example of the expertise and dedication that DeMaria and our project team bring to our projects. Throughout the construction period, we ensured the existing structure remained weathertight, adhering rigorously to safety guidelines to safeguard both the building and its occupants during demolition and construction. Safety was a top priority, guided by our core principle of “Safety Before Production,” a philosophy that defines our company’s commitment.

The scope of work included removing existing floor and wall finishes, ceilings, and lighting, followed by the installation of new millwork, resilient base, flooring, acoustic ceiling grids, and tiles. Exterior masonry walls were enhanced with aluminum windows, while interiors were upgraded with new carpet, paint, acoustic ceiling systems, and elegant lighting designed to emulate natural light.

The result is a stunning modern space that offers an open, inviting atmosphere, providing students, faculty, and visitors with enhanced work areas and a beautiful environment to enjoy.
