Project Description
DeMaria completed construction of the new Blue Water Area Transit Bus Center in the heart of downtown Port Huron. The design of the facility reflects Port Huron’s history as a maritime community.
The goal of the project was to create a new bus transfer center providing a quality transportation experience to the community, while creating a hub of activity in Port Huron’s downtown. This project included construction of the new facility and a bus canopy, along with site development activities including reconstruction of two major streets surrounding the site, new short-term and long-term parking areas, and landscaping of the entire area.

-In floor radiant heat for passenger comfort

-Plaza area for public gathering
