The DeMaria Difference

Sustainable Construction

DeMaria stands at the forefront of providing and delivering sustainable projects while most of the industry attempts to adjust to the green initiative spreading through construction. As a member of the US Green Building Council, we provide the expertise required to achieve LEED certification. In 2011 DeMaria created Team Green, an internal panel of employees holding LEED accreditations. Team Green’s goal is to ensure projects follow the best sustainable practices.

TEAM GREEN - Inner

In 1976 we constructed one of the first public buildings in Michigan to use all solar-based heating and cooling, and since then DeMaria has incorporated green building methods on numerous projects. With many of our core clients requiring LEED certification on upcoming projects, we provide owners with a blueprint to reduce energy consumption, maximize occupant comfort and health, and conserve natural resources. Thus our customers and our company have the opportunity to benefit from environmentally sustainable construction.
