Making an Impact through the DeMaria Charity Golf Classic

For sixteen years, DeMaria has focused on giving back to the organizations and institutions that they work closely with on construction projects. The DeMaria Charity Golf Classic has raised money for Henry Ford Health System since it began in 1999. Through this fundraiser, over $250,000 has been donated to the hospital, specifically the Neuroscience Institute. Over the last fifteen years, Henry Ford has had an increase in survival rates and patient quality of life for diseases such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, and more. DeMaria is proud to see the donations from this event make an impact to further the hard work of the Neuroscience Institute and their mission to make the unbeatable, completely treatable.

In recent years, the DeMaria Charity Golf Classic has expanded to benefit the Detroit Zoological Society’s “Day at the Zoo” program. The program provides funding for underserved students from Detroit Public Schools and other districts to participate in field trips to the Zoo, free of charge. onlinekarte.xyz Contributions provide transportation, admission, lunch, and educational activities for the students and their teachers. Last year, DeMaria was able to help 457 students attend the zoo. Improving the zoo experience has been a continued interest for DeMaria. Helping students to enjoy the Detroit Zoo is a wonderful opportunity.
