Project Description

In June 1996, DeMaria began building the Star Theater, at the time the largest and grandest theater complex owned by Loews Cineplex. Working within the demanding timeline, DeMaria was able to build this 180,000 sf, 20 screen movie complex within 10 months.

Highlights include:

  • Twenty (20) auditoriums with seating capacity from 100 to 700
  • Two large mezzanines for film projection
  • Common area
  • 90,000 sf of retail and restaurant space
  • Three (3) specialty themed lobbies
  • The first theater Michigan to offer stadium seating
