Project Description
DeMaria was hired to renovate and create a new City Hall for the City of Inkster, Michigan. The project involved renovating an existing building that was previously a social services agency. The new 15,000 sf City Hall contains offices, restrooms, and a council chamber.
Highlights include:
- Constructed 3 new masonry entry canopies
- Demolished interior walls
- Installed new sound system to be used for public meetings and hearings
- Constructed new gypsum/metal stud partitions
- Removed and replaced all lay-in ceilings, including lighting and mechanical grills
- Removed and replaced all carpet
- Painted all walls
- Repaired and resurfaced existing asphalt parking lot
