Project Description

DeMaria was hired to renovate and create a  new City Hall for the City of Inkster, Michigan.  The project involved renovating an existing building that was previously a social services agency.  The new 15,000 sf City Hall contains offices, restrooms, and a council chamber.

Highlights include:

  • Constructed 3 new masonry entry canopies
  • Demolished interior walls
  • Installed new sound system to be used for public meetings and hearings
  • Constructed new gypsum/metal stud partitions
  • Removed and replaced all lay-in ceilings, including lighting and mechanical grills
  • Removed and replaced all carpet
  • Painted all walls
  • Repaired and resurfaced existing asphalt parking lot
