RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Prepare layout documents and computations associated with ALTA, Boundary and Topographic Surveys etc.
- Prepare layout and As-built drawings and descriptions utilizing AutoCAD and other related software packages as directed.
- Prepare and manage project schedule.
- Prepares standard forms and communicates the project requirements and expectations.
- Communicates and coordinates schedules with project team.
- Reviews data and documents developed by team for accuracy and precision.
- Analyzes data from various sources, e.g., traditional field survey, point cloud, GIS, etc. to develop and prepare plans and reports.
- Provide construction-related services including correspondence with team, construction plan interpretation, point data extraction, stakeout reviews, etc.
- Review applicable reference materials and location specific statutes and requirements and communicates knowledge with teammates and clients.
- Review and evaluate project documentation, e.g., field notes, title work, surveys, property descriptions, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Experience using levels, conventional total stations, robotic instruments, surveying equipment while collecting field survey data for different types of surveys.
- Prior experience with 3D Scanning preferred.
- Experience using Trimble GNSS and Survey Controller or tablet.
- Knowledge and experience with Boundary Alta surveys.
- Ability to work extended hours, including some weekends.
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather and terrain conditions.
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and do repetitive work such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time.
- Required to have a valid driver license with a clean driving record
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Responsible for all phases of the construction project(s), which include; conceptual development, budget, schedule, client development, sales, quality, and delivery. The Senior Project Manager is held accountable for the successful, timely completion and financial outcome of all assigned project(s).
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures all team members, including self, consistently follow DBC policies and procedures as outlined in the corporate employee manual.
- Manage project profitability, update PM checklist and prepare monthly job cost updates and P&L reporting to ensure the project is within the agreed-upon budget.
- Thorough understanding of the requirements of owner contracts, contract plans & specifications, other contracts and purchase agreements, thereby identifying changes or conflicts.
- Monitor schedule developments and updates with the Project Superintendent to ensure the project is on schedule
- Develop and maintains good client relationships for expanded or new work opportunities.
- Manage contract cash flow, develop a schedule of values to track and ensure proper contract billing
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Negotiates revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with owners, architects, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage all financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interest.
- Timely finalization of all subcontracts
- Lead and manage project team
- Mentor, motivate and develop other Project Managers and team members toward a successful career with DBC
- Promote the growth and development of client, subcontractor and vendor relationships
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and the estimating process
- Attend and Participate in all project meetings and company training
- Adhere to all local, state, and OSHA regulations, including company safety policy and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS (Skills, knowledge, experience)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related field with a minimum of 7+ year’s Project Management experience.
- Proven ability to successfully manage a project or multiple projects in excess of $15 million dollars in scope.
- Solid financial management (P&L) experience
- Strong spirit, with vision and tenacity to recognize, pursue and develop potential growth and new business opportunities
- Lead by example and set the standard of performance for others to follow
- Demonstrate a professional attitude consistent with company values and culture
- Must have an excellent understanding of the construction management process, including, Estimating, Budget and Cost Control, Scheduling, Means and Methods, Quality Management, Safety Management, Procurement, Owner and Subcontractor contract details, Labor Relations and Union Contracts
- Thorough knowledge of submittals, RFI’s and closeout procedures
- Complete understanding and experience managing all construction delivery systems
- Experience managing construction projects that were competitively bid with self-performing portions of the work, including; concrete formwork, placing and finishing of concrete, installation of doors, frames and hardware, finish carpentry and millwork
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess good organizational, analytical and problem-solving ability
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Proficient in use, or quickly capable of learning Timberline and Microsoft Project software applications
- Knowledgeable of applicable OSHA and Company safety requirements
- Represent the company at all times with high moral and ethical conduct.
