Texas de Brazil Churrascaria. Hines Property Management

Project Details

DeMaria recently completed the Texas de Brazil Churrascaria build-out within the Compuware building downtown. The project consisted of selective demolition of the former Borders Books retail space prior to the construction of the dining room, bar, 60–item salad area, waiting area and restrooms.  High-end finishes were incorporated in each aspect of the renovation, including: imported onyx, a travertine floor, wood plank porcelain flooring, and custom tempered glass.  The project team completed this project within an aggressive five month schedule.

During the renovation, DeMaria’s team coordinated renovations to the existing base building mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems and upgraded and installed new MEP systems including exhaust and grease duct shafts and fire suppression systems. The team also coordinated the purchase and installation of specified proprietary equipment for the Brazilian-American steakhouse kitchen.
