MTC Design Center North, South & Lorna Building, General Motors Corporation
DeMaria recently finished an extensive upgrade of design studios at the General Motors Tech Center in Warren, MI. A design/build project, DeMaria worked closely with architects / engineers Cornerstone to carefully plan renovation phasing and new construction activities. All earthwork, concrete and finish carpentry was self-performed by DeMaria.
A total of three buildings were involved: Design Center North, Design Center South and the Lorna Building. Design Center North was a 54,000 sf renovation of office space and conference rooms. The Lorna Building was renovated to become a vehicle training area and distance learning studio. |
