Cardiac Cath Lab at Harper University Hospital, Detroit Medical Center
The Cardiac Cath Lab was a fast-track project with an aggressive four-month schedule from time of award through final inspection. It featured the demolition of existing space adjacent to operational Cath Labs.
The challenge with installing the state-of-the-art Siemens equipment was that the exact room configuration was unknown at the time the contract was awarded. DeMaria worked diligently with Siemens to finalize the scope and position of the equipment. Close communication with adjacent user groups and other stakeholders enabled a successful project delivered within the four-month time span.
Additionally, the entire radiology department fire alarm was upgraded to meet current code requirements. |
