New
Police Headquarters and District Court Building, City of Dearborn,
Michigan
Overcrowded conditions prompted
the City of Dearborn, a suburb bordering Detroit, to renovate and
expand its Police Headquarters and 19th District Court Building.
Ultimately, the entire site was transformed into a 21st
century law enforcement complex.
The 19th District Court and judicial department were
relocated to the new addition. This made it easier to renovate the
original building tripling the amount of detention space and adding
new electronic detention cells along with an emergency electrical
backup system for the entire complex. |
